Like the new basic pay is being fixed for the serving CG employees in the new pay matrix as per 7 th Pay Revision, is it not proper to fix all the CG pensioners in to the pay matrix first, based on their last drawn basic pay and grade pay as on the date of their retirement, as per VI Pay Revision, and then fix up the pension as half of the new basic thus arrived at. By this method, every pensioner will find a place in the new pay matrix.
